Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara. The tour drives along the floor of the Great Rift Valley pass Mt. Longongot, an extinct volcano, and into Maasai country arriving at the Maasai Mara game Reserve in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive, then dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge. Maasai Mara is famous for its black-manned Lion, and forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Day 2: Spend the day exploring this world famous Game Reserve with three game drives provided, ample opportunity to see large herds of elephants buffalo among others. Meals and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge. Day 3: After breakfast the tour crosses the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru, famous for its masses of flamingoes and is often referred to as the Pink Lake. Lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. An afternoon game drive including a visit to the Lake. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Day 4: After breakfast the tour returns to Nairobi, arriving around lunch time. |
