SAMBURU

Duration: 2 ½ days.

Departs: 7.30am

Day 1: Departs Nairobi, tour drive passes the small industrial town of Thika, proceeds further north entering the warm and drier semi desert.  The Samburu National Reserve has all the big five and the Uaso Nyiro River, which flows through the game reserves, is infested with crocodiles. Lunch is provided at the lodge and then afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge.

Day 2: Two game drives are provided.  Afternoon is at leisure besides the swimming pool of the lodge.  Meals and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge.

Day 3: Early morning drive, then after breakfast drive back towards Nairobi, arriving in Nairobi at about 6.00pm.
