MAASAI MARA – LAKE NAKURU

This package combines a tour to the Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru National Park.  The vast grassland of the Maasai Mara form the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park in Tanzania is famous for its black–manned lion, The Maasai Mara plains are scattered with an array of wildlife.    

The Mara is an awesome natural wonder, a place where Maasai warriors share the plains with hunting lions.  Lake Nakuru on the other hand is a magnificent sight to behold.  Mission Tour and Travel will provide you with a guide/ driver, who is prompt, professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of safari tracking as well as wildlife in order to make your safari well worth the time and effort.

Day 1:  Nairobi – Maasai Mara. 

The tour drives along the floor of the Great Rift Valley and passes Mount Longonot, (an extinct volcanic mountain) and into Maasai land arriving at the Maasai Mara in time for lunch.   There will be an afternoon game drive then dinner and overnight at an accommodation of your choice (see below for choices).  

Day 2: 

Spend the day exploring this world famous Game Reserve.  Three game drives will be provided in order to give you an opportunity to see large herds of elephants, buffaloes and more wildlife.  Meals and overnight at the accommodation facility.

Day 3: Maasai Mara - Lake Nau National Park

After breakfast, the tour crosses the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru.  Lunch will be served at either of the two lodges in the park: Lake Nakuru Lodge or
Sarova Lion Hill.  In the afternoon, there will be an afternoon game drive including a visit to the lake.  Dinner and overnight will be at accommodation facility of choice.

Day 4: 

After breakfast, the tour returns to Nairobi and arrives at lunch time.
